Katheraine Silent Water, 135th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, Iowa Army National Guard, practices an assisted pullup using a resistance band Jan. 5 at the Ignit Sport fitness center in Grimes, Iowa, during training for the upcoming release of the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). The ACFT is scheduled to replace the current Army Physical Fitness Test of pushups, sit-ups and a 2-mile run. The ACFT will have six events, including: strength deadlift; standing power throw; hand release pushups; sprint, drag, carry; leg tuck; and 2-mile run.
