An Iron Bowl spectator tries his best at the Marine Corps pull-up challenge that was being hosted by the Marines of Recruiting Station Montgomery, Ala., at the annual football rivalry between Auburn University and the University of Alabama. During the game, the Marines held a competition to see which school could raise the most toys for the Marine Corps Reserves’ Toy for Tots program and perform the most pull-ups. The competition ended with the University of Alabama being recognized for raising the most toys and Auburn performing the most pull-ups during the first quarter of the game. The award was presented by Lance Cpl. Kyle Carpenter, a 22 year-old Marine and wounded warrior from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, who was given honors during game day.
