Dr. Marin Pilloud, an anthropologist with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, sketches a soil profile in the Xekong province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Oct. 26, 2010. Dr. Pilloud is one of several recovery team members searching for possible remains and/or material evidence which may correlate to missing service members lost during the Vietnam War. The JPAC mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans lost during our nation's previous conflicts.
