Maj. Gen. Donna Martin, MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood commanding general, shows Taylor Duncan her collection of military coins Oct. 3, 2018. Duncan, a 5-year-old military child, has stolen the hearts of those residing in her host state of Missouri, while on a mission to have ice cream with every mayor in the state as her "big" homeschool project of the year. As of Oct. 3, Taylor has met and had ice cream with more than 114 mayors from across the state. Along the way she has also met the Missouri governor, and Fort Leonard Wood’s commanding general, command sergeant major and garrison commander.
