Members of Patrol Squadron (VP) 1 work on a P-3 Orion Aircraft with members of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force during a bilateral training exercise here. VP-1 is currently deployed to Naval Air Facility Misawa, and is the first squadron to operate out of northern Japan since 2007.
