LEGO models of the CSS Virginia and USS Monitor are pictured in the Civil War Gallery of the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. Both represent two of the over 200+ LEGO models of varying difficulty that visitors can build during the museum’s 8th Annual LEGO Brick by Brick Shipbuilding event, hosted by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10am-4pm at the Decker Half Moone Cruise Terminal. During this signature event, visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to try their hand at building over 200+ LEGO ship models, enjoy a free play area with LEGOS and Duplo blocks, enter a LEGO shipbuilding contest, get an up-close look at professional LEGO models, enjoy a robotics demonstrations and crafts all while learning STEM concepts in a fun and energetic environment.
