Tyle Tripop, an engineer operations officer with America’s First Corps in the Hero of the Battle portion of a bilateral meeting during Yama Sakura 75 at Camp Higashi-Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan, Dec 12, 2018. The Hero of the Battle is a daily recognition of Soldiers who contributed strongly to the effort of the exercise. Yama Sakura is a bilateral event with the U.S. Army and the Japan Ground Self Defense Force that simulates the defense of Japan and strengthens the alliance between the two Armies.
