World War II veteran Dave Fleming waves while being recognized at the Pearl Harbor Day event at the World War II Memorial, Washington, D.C., Dec. 7, 2018. Fleming, who is 100 years old, served in the United States Army Air Corps in England and France during the war. He was an assistant crew chief and an operations sergeant and was awarded six Bronze Stars.
