Goldfein, Air Force Chief of Staff, receive briefings while visiting the 388th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron during a base visit at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Oct. 19, 2018. Hill is slated to be home to three F-35 fighter squadrons with a total of 78 aircraft by the end of 2019. The active-duty 388th Fighter Wing and Air Force Reserve 419th Fighter Wing are the service’s first combat-capable F-35 units and slated to be home to three F-35 fighter squadrons, totaling of 78 aircraft by the end of 2019.
