NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Nov. 30, 2018) Electrician’s Mate (Nuclear) 2nd Class Patrick Garrett, from Milwaukee, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) reactor department, receives a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from Cmdr. Emily Bassett, Ford’s reactor officer, during a promotion ceremony in the ship’s forecastle.
