JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2018) – Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Marcus Allen, a surgical technician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, sterilizes surgical equipment for the operating room. Allen, a native of Pleasantville, Pennsylvania, recently completed a nine-month individual augmentee assignment with Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System 19 in Bahrain. “We moved throughout the Middle East providing emergency medical response for various entities on multiple platforms. It was a great experience. Our team was active duty and reservists.
