Recruits with Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, curl a log during a log drill exercise at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 26. Recruits maintain a level of physical fitness throughout recruit training by conducting daily physical training sessions. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained aboard MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 18.
