Peruvian Navy Vice Adm. James Thornberry, commanding general of Pacific Operations, briefs U.S. Marines and sailors with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Peru, and Peruvian military, health and government officials at a rehearsal of concept drill prior to a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise at Chorrillos Beach near Lima, Peru, Nov. 23, 2018. SPMAGTF-Peru's goal is to demonstrate humanitarian assistance and disaster relief response by bringing together the capabilities of U.S. Marines and sailors aboard the Somerset and Peruvian naval forces as a multinational maritime task force.
