Service members with the Royal Thai Armed Forces work with U.S. Marine explosive ordnance disposal technicians, engineers and corpsmen with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, to build up the Thai military’s demining capabilities and supplemental combat casualty care skills. The Marine Corps conducts multiple Humanitarian Mine Action training packages with partner nations annually, instructing military students on the tactics, techniques and procedures for locating, removing and disposing of unexploded ordnance.
