U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Dustoff 1st Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Task Force No Mercy, conduct hoist training from an HH-60 Blackhawk Medevac Helicopter at Jalalabad Airfield, Afghanistan Nov. 19, 2018. The training included various aspects of hoist recovery maneuvers such as static and mobile to ensure the aircraft crew is able to extract personnel while the helicopter is moving as well as at a hover.
