Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Cobb, senior enlisted advisor for 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss, conducts an interview with “Tom Gauer”, a role-playing reporter, on the status of operations within the Warfighter exercise scenario Nov. 12 outside the division's main command post. Senior leaders were provided media training to make sure they understand the importance of engaging with the media to inform the American public about the U.S. Army's operations. The purpose of Warfighter 19-2 was to train the 1st Armored Division in a demanding exercise that tests America’s Tank Division, and its Soldiers on all warfighting functions while simultaneously conducting operations in a simulated, complex combat environment.
