Sgt. William “Bud” Thomas (left), an explosive ordnance technician, and Staff Sgt. Tim Harrison (right), an explosive ordnance disposal team leader, look over a small cache of improvised explosive device making materials found in Kajaki Sofla, Nov. 9. Thomas and Harrison, in direct support of Company B, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, respond to such calls on a daily basis in an effort to reduce the threat of IED’s in the area.
