U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Christopher Hamrick receives a plate of food during a Marine Corps birthday meal at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Nov. 16, 2018. Cherry Point hosted the birthday meal for service members, their families, Department of Defense employees and retirees to celebrate the 243rd Marine Corps birthday. The menu included shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, grilled steaks baked lobster tails, baked potatoes, steamed Italian cut green beans, sautéed mushrooms and onions, corn on the cob, fruit salad, dinner rolls, cheese cake with strawberry topping, assorted fruit pies, and birthday cake.
