Marianna, FL., Oct. 20, 2018--Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) such as Convoy of Hope help communities affected by Hurricane Michael. Their distribution site is up and running, and a steady stream of cars pass through each hour. As of today, Convoy of Hope has served more than 47,000 individuals. NGOs provide manpower and resources to help communities respond to and recover from the impact of disasters. An assembly line of local volunteers (blue shirts) pack bags with an assortment of supplies to be handed out to survivors along with basic supplies like water and ice. FEMA/K.C. Wilsey
