Kowalewski, a Navy veteran, signs copies of his book, "A Sailor's Life", for Sailors from the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Alaska (SSBN 732) at the Chugiak Senior Center during a namesake visit to Anchorage, Alaska. Navy events such as the Alaska namesake visit are interactive ways to share what the Navy does for our country with a number of different communities.
