PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (Nov. 16, 2018) -- San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) at anchor near APEC Haus in Port Moresby Harbour, Papua New Guinea. Green Bay is in Port Moresby to assist with security efforts ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference and is the second U.S. ship to visit Port Moresby in the last two months. Green Bay is part of Amphibious Squadron 11 and is operating in the region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
