Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Raymond Odierno watches a High Mobility Multipurpose-Wheeled Vehicle mounted with the Ghost Ship Unmanned Ground Vehicle drive away without passengers, during a tour of equipment being considered for integration into the Army at White Sands Missile Range, N.M., Nov. 18. The Ghost Ship UGV is a remote controlled system that can be mounted on High Mobility Multipurpose-Wheeled Vehicles or Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicles to give the operator the ability to maneuver, brake and accelerate the vehicle.
