Sailors assigned the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Maryland (SSBN 738) blue crew serve students and their families at Woodbine Elementary School's annual Turkey-Day dinner in Woodbine, Georgia. The boat's crew members volunteer at the school several times a year as part of an adopt-a-school program. Maryland is one of five Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarines that make up the most survivable leg of the nuclear missile triad stationed at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia.
