U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Juan Valdez looks on while 10-year-old Clayton Goodwin does pushups as his classmates cheer him on during physical education class Nov. 16 at Polk Elementary School in El Paso. Goodwin challenged the soldiers to a pushup contest. Goodwin performed 54 consecutive pushups in less than a minute.
