181110-N-TP832-1069 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 10, 2018) Steelworker Constructionman Bryce Thompson, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, splices metal wire to connect two pieces of rebar during a project to build a k-span structure onboard Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
