181110-N-TP832-1014 OKINAWA, Japan (Nov. 10, 2018) Builder 3rd Class Edwardson Torres, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, cuts a two-by-four to reinforce formwork to ensure the structural stability of a k-span structure onboard Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
