Army paratroopers assigned to Blackfoot Company, 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, move to evacuate simulated battlefield casualties during infantry platoon live-fire training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 7, 2018. The exercise honed the paratroopers’ infantry skills to include: platoon movement and communication, obstacle breaching, capturing objectives through assault and maneuver, and casualty care. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter aviators from B Company, 1st Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment out of Fort Wainwright, provided air support for the training exercise.
