Army paratroopers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, U.S. Army Alaska, off-load simulated battlefield casualties from a CH-47 Chinook helicopter during infantry platoon live-fire training at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 7, 2018. The exercise honed the paratroopers’ infantry skills to include: platoon movement and communication, obstacle breaching, capturing objectives through assault and maneuver, and casualty care.
