Members of the 257th Army Band, District of Columbia Army National Guard, render a musical selection during a ceremony hosted by the D.C. National Guard and the Association of the Oldest Inhabitants of D.C. honoring the 499 D.C. residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice during World War I and commemorate the centennial of Armistice Day, Nov. 11, 2018, at the D.C. War Memorial in Washington D.C. Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D.C.; Phil Mendelson, chairman, D.C. Council; Maj. Gen. William J. Walker, commanding general, D.C.
