U.S. Army Pfc. Spencer Chatland, 197th Special Troop Company (Airborne), Utah Army National Guard, helps 1st Lt. Noni Balboa with putting on his parachute for a static line jump, Fairfield, Utah, Nov. 9. The unit used SF-10 parachutes, designed for safe delivery of jumpers onto small, rugged drop zones at high or low elevations. The SF-10 Canopy is a highly modified, 28 gore poly-conical parachute with a unique drive system that enables the canopy to turn quickly with minimum pendular motion.
