SAIPAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands – Soldiers with the 368th Military Police Company, 9th Mission Support Command, load American Red Cross cots at the Tanapag Middle School in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Nov. 7, 2018. More than 300 Army Reserve Soldiers have been mobilized locally and abroad in the Pacific region to support ongoing recovery efforts from Super Typhoon Yutu, a Category 5 storm. Service members from Joint Region Marianas and other units from within Indo-Pacific Command assigned to Task Force-West are providing Department of Defense support to the CNMI’s civil and local officials as part of the FEMA-supported Typhoon Yutu recovery efforts.
