Brig. Gen. Douglas M. McBride Jr., the 55th Quartermaster General, passes the QM Corps Warrant Officer Regimental Charter to CW5 Maria G. Martinez during an assumption of responsibility ceremony Nov. 5 in Mullins Auditorium, Challen Hall. Martinez, the 15th Chief Warrant Officer of the QM Corps and a native of Mexico, is the first female to hold such a title in any of the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command's logistics branches. She replaced CW5 Jonathan O. Yerby, who is now the CASCOM CWO.
