Panama City, FL., Nov. 2, 2018-- At the request of the Florida State Animal Response Coalition (SARC), the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has been on the ground in Bay County, Fla. supporting local agencies with emergency sheltering of hundreds of animals displaced by Hurricane Michael. The ASPCA also assisted with search-and-rescue efforts in the field, providing medical attention for impacted animals, and coordinating reunification efforts for lost pets. FEMA/K.C. Wilsey
