This is clearly evidenced by his contributions to improving the fleet medical readiness of numerous commands throughout the Hampton Roads area as well as the successful execution of immunizations to active duty and their beneficiaries. He epitomizes the Sea Warrior’s ethos of service with honor; furthermore, he never fails to proudly embody our beloved Navy core values in his tireless pursuit for excellence. He is a highly motivated and “always ready” leader of Sailors, with an uncanny capacity for maximizing limited resources, motivating junior personnel and inspiring teamwork. His "can do" attitude is admirable and infectious; he is by far the “seventh” pillar of NMCP! He has demonstrated that he is more than ready for anchors. Thomas’ unparalleled professionalism, devotion and steadfast dedication to mission accomplishment, are the reasons why he is “head and shoulders” above his peers. His stellar performance led to his selection as NMCP Senior Sailor of the Year and his nomination to compete in Navy Medicine East’s Senior Sailor of the Year competition.
