The STARBASE instructors at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon, brought a living, breathing example of science and technology, engineering and math to its students, Oct. 19, 2018. Retired NASA Engineer Norman Chaffee spoke with the children and brought with him historical items, like the rocket motor to his right that he helped design, to help foster an interest in STEM careers for the local Klamath Falls, Ore., students.
