(Sept. 22, 2018) Seaman Joe Meyer, from Louisville, Kentucky, crawls on his hands and knees as he progresses through an obstacle while participating in the MWR Barbarian Challenge run at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) is undergoing refueling complex overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipyard. RCOH is a four-year project performed once during an aircraft carriers life-cycle that includes refueling of the ship's two nuclear reactors, repairs, upgrades and modernization.
