A soldier, assigned to the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, holds his child at their reunion following a homecoming ceremony, Oct. 31, 2018, at the William Bill Reed Special Events Center, Fort Carson, Colorado. He was deployed with the 2nd IBCT, 4th Inf. Div. to Afghanistan to support the Resolute Support mission, conducting training, advising and assisting operations that enable Afghanistan national defense and security forces to increase security and stability in order to prevent terrorist safe havens.
