Laghman Province, Afghanistan (October 27, 2018) – Staff Sgt. Dylan Walsh from 2nd Battalion, 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division explains the operational capability of the M777A2 Howitzer to Gen. James C. McConville, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army. Walsh, a 13B Section Chief, spoke about ammunition capabilities such as the 795 High Explosive, the Precision Guided Kinetic 795 and the Excalibur MX 982A1 rounds, specifically focusing on the difference between conventional munitions and precision guided munitions.
