Modly, Under Secretary of the Navy, speaks with students of the Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) in Naval Station Newport. Secretary Modly is a 1983 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. Currently NAPS has 232 Navy Midshipman candidates and 19 U.S. Coast Guard midshipman candidates enrolled and preparing for entry into their respective academies next year.
