A member of the Koku Jietai (Japan Air Self-Defense Force) works with the Airmen from the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron to secure the Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) in place at a bilateral training event at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Oct. 25, 2018. The training allowed personnel from Iruma, Komatsu and Hyakuri Air Bases to get hands-on experience with the installation process of the MAAS, further strengthening the relationship and interoperability of the two nation’s forces.
