    1-94 CAV supports the drawdown

Soldiers from Convoy Escort Team “Crazy 80” take a group photo before their convoy escort mission from Camp Adder, Iraq, Oct. 28, 2011. “It’s our ritual. Guys like to send the flags to everyone who helps out back home.” said Staff Sgt. David Conner, the convoy escort team commander. In their first 90 days, the 1st Squadron, 94th Cavalry "Iron Rangers," 1st Brigade, 34th Infantry Division "Red Bulls" provided nearly 700,000 miles of convoy security missions for the drawdown from Iraq. The Iron Rangers average three times as many missions as their predecessors in support of Operation New Dawn.
