The training was in preparation for Thracian Sword 18, an ongoing multinational training exercise between U.S. and foreign partners and allies in support of North Atlantic Treaty Organization operations. Pursuing interoperability by engaging with the militaries of other nations gives our Soldiers the opportunity to learn new skills that further strengthen the bond needed to deter aggression in the region.
