The peer-nominated award is presented annually to a Navy Gastroenterologist "who embodies the best qualities of an outstanding clinician. The recipient...should display a balance of compassion, keen clinical acumen, and a dedication to continuous professional growth." The Dallas-raised physician has been at NMCCL for four months.
