Spc. Benjamin French, a combat engineer with the 57th Sapper Company, lowers himself down after landing in a tree more than 75 feet in the air during rough terrain airborne operations at Luzon Drop Zone, Camp Mackall, N.C. Oct. 27. “I didn’t panic,” French said. “I just stayed calm and used our rough terrain training to get out of the tree and meet up at the rally point.”
