Marianna, FL., Oct. 20, 2018--Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) such as Convoy of Hope help communities affected by Hurricane Michael. Their distribution site is up and running, and a steady stream of cars pass through each hour. As of today, Convoy of Hope, alongside 580 volunteers (blue shirts), has served more than 47,000 individuals. So far, more than 1.6 million pounds of food, water and supplies have been delivered to the distribution hub and will continue to make their way into the hands of those in need. NGOs provide manpower and resources to help communities respond to and recover from the impact of disasters. FEMA/K.C. Wilsey
