Senior Airman Latina Jones, 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron defender, mans a heavy machine gun in a guard tower at Bagram Air Field Oct. 21, 2011. Bagram Air Field is a joint installation, but its security is unusual in that defending the base is performed primarily by airmen. Airmen from the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing are hard at work each and every day fulfilling the wing’s mission: “Support the fight, defend the base and win.”
