Del Rio—New Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Javier Rosales Jr., gains valuable insight from U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer, Jon Alexitas, on the successful blending of the Texas service members with CBP at the Port of Entry, Sept. 10. The Guardsmen deployed to the Del Rio area nearly four months ago in support of Joint Task Force Guardian Support. Service members assist CBP in areas like secondary vehicle inspections, maintenance and administrative duties; in efforts to free up Agents and keep them on the line to continue their law enforcement efforts.
