A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Channel Islands Harbor transported a 61-year old man that sustained severe wrist and hand injuries from a 25-foot recreation boat to Channel Islands Harbor, October 19, 2018. The Coast Guard 45-RBM crew had two emergency medical technicians and a paramedic from Ventura County Fire Department were aboard, providing immediate medical treatment before being taken to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center for further medical care.
