BANGOR, Wash. (Oct. 10, 2018) Under Secretary for Nuclear Security of the U.S. Department of Energy and Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, the honorable Lisa Gordon-Hagerty, and Adm. J. Franklin Caldwell, director, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, tour the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Alabama (SSBN 731). They also visited the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Louisiana (SSBN 743) and Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor during their visit to the Pacific Northwest.
