The USACE Jacksonville District, has been tasked by FEMA to assist eligible homeowners with temporary roof repairs through the Operation Blue Roof program. Jacksonville Commander Col. Andrew Kelly and Bill Briggs from Little Rock District provide a little extra customer service to a resident at a Right of Entry (ROE) collection site, three of which are now open where eligible residents can apply for the program. The program provides a temporary covering of blue plastic sheeting to help reduce further damage to property until permanent repairs can be made. To participate call 1-888-ROOF-BLU (1-888-766-3258) or visit www.usace.army.mil/blueroof to find a location where ROE forms are being collected. (U.S. Army photo by Chris Gardner)
